Book Review Of Sheila Walsh' Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God

"Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God", by Sheila Walsh. I have to admit I was not inspired by her book at all. Don't get me wrong I did love some of the Scriptures, but I had to look up allot of what she quoted in my "Life Application" study Bible, some of her writing was very confusing to me.

She seemed to jump around quite a bit about depression and then go in to a story about something totally opposite of what she was starting to talk about to begin with. Anyways it was very hard for me to get through the book but I did.

It was nothing what I expected it to be. I assumed this book would help me grow in my walk with God but it really didn't. I did not find that it related to my life at all. I did learn about certain parts of the Bible though which was a plus, but the jumping around really threw me off.

I am sorry Ms. Walsh but this one was just not a big thumbs up for me, but I do believe it would be a good book for someone who has or does struggle with depression. I just wish it would have been what I was expecting from the title of the book, but unfortunately it was not.
