You Know You Are Living In 2012 When . . . .

1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave...

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web-site at the bottom of the screen.

8.. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on-line before getting your coffee

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

My Neurosurgeon Appointment Is Today

Well today I will be seeing a neurosurgeon for the first time. I have always seen my orthopedic surgeon and after the two surgeries with him, I have gotten worse, so my family Dr. now has me seeing this neurosurgeon instead.

I did get the MRI results and I have multi levels of spine disease, so today I go in to discuss this with him. I have had so many suggestions, I don't know what to try, lol! But I love that people care enough, and am thankful for their loving thoughts and suggestions.

I did get to a point that I just wanted to throw in the towel, and I still have those days, but I think about others that can't even walk at all or that have diseases that are far worse than mine And then again I am thankful that it hurts.

I want to thank each and every one of you that have sent prayers my way, and are still praying for me and continue to keep my spirits high. God bless you all. I hope you all have a wonderful Awww Monday, God bless!

I Know This Laywer

A small town prosecuting attorney called his first witness to the stand in a trial-a grandmotherly, elderly woman. He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?"

She responded, "Yes, I do know you Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy. And frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs.

You think you're a rising big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Williams, do you know the defense attorney?"

She again replied, "Why, yes I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. I used to baby-sit him for his parents. And he, too, has been a real disappointment to me. He's lazy, bigoted, he has a drinking problem. The man can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the shoddiest in the entire state. Yes, I know him."

At this point, the judge rapped the courtroom to silence and called both counselors to the bench. In a very quiet voice, he said with menace, "If either of you asks her if she knows me, you'll be in jail within 3 minutes!"
